Pokémon TCG Pocket getting Arceus booster, Mega Evolutions

More new cards are coming to Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, The Pokémon Company announced Thursday during its Pokémon Day broadcast. As is customary for big events, however, the news leaked a bit early reportedly after an ad for the game showing the new content was pushed live ahead of the announcement. The Triumphant Light pack has a scope similar to the Mythical Island pack that was added in December; a single pack with a bunch of new cards, instead of multiples like with the Space-Time Smackdown expansion. Arceus is at the center of the Triumphant Light and on the cover of the pack. The Arceus ex and Garchomp ex cards seemingly headline the pack, surrounded by the likes of Magnemite, Golbat, and another Eevee. The themed booster pack will be added to Pokémon TCG Pocket on Feb. 28. The Pokémon Company also announced that its adding Mega Evolutions to the game, including Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir.
